How The Game Works

WorldBid is transparent, permanent, and competitive. Read the rules governing rankings, standing bids, and territory ownership.

01

Open Participation

Anyone can submit a legitimate software tool, SaaS, open-source project, or internet product. No account required to participate.

02

Top 5 Are Featured

Each territory features its Top 5 ranked projects on the global interactive map. All participants below #5 remain fully ranked on the public country leaderboard.

03

Standing Bid Determines Rank

Rankings are strictly determined by the cumulative standing bid amount ($ USD). The highest bid occupies #1, the second highest occupies #2, and so on.

04

No 24-Hour Expiration

Positions do not expire. Your project remains ranked indefinitely by its cumulative standing bid. If someone places a higher bid, your project simply moves down to the next rank and remains fully visible.

05

Equal Bids Favor Earlier Timestamp

In the event two projects hold identical standing bids, the earlier placed bid holds the higher position.

06

Non-Refundable Placement Rule

When your position is outbid, your project moves down to the next rank. Bid payments are one-time placement fees and are strictly non-refundable.

07

Raising Your Own Bid

You may raise your standing bid at any time to defend or climb the ranking by paying the incremental difference.

08

Prohibited Listings & Moderation

Scams, malware, phishing, impersonation, hate speech, adult content, and illegal services are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to remove non-compliant listings without refund.
