Frequently Answered Questions

How does WorldBid work?

WorldBid is a global software discovery leaderboard across 195 finite territories. You pick a country, place a standing bid, and enter that country's ranking. The top 5 projects in each country become 'Featured' and appear directly on the global interactive map.

What happens when someone outbids me?

Your project stays on the board permanently! You simply move down in rank (e.g. #1 becomes #2). Your live dynamic SVG badge on your website updates automatically. You can raise your rank again anytime by paying only the difference.

Can I raise my own bid later?

Yes! If you are currently #3 with an $80 bid and want to take #1 where the top spot is $100, you pay only the $20 difference ($100 - $80). Your previous payments remain cumulative.

How do I embed my live dynamic SVG badge?

Every project has a dedicated permanent hub at /project/[id]. Visit your project page, copy the 1-click Markdown or HTML embed snippet, and paste it into your GitHub README, personal portfolio, or SaaS footer.

What is the #1 Crown & Imperial Decree?

The #1 project in each country holds the national Crown. The creator can set an 'Imperial Decree' (proclamation) that is displayed prominently to all visitors exploring that country.

How do I report an abusive or scam project?

If you find malware, phishing, scam links, impersonation, or prohibited content, you can click 'Report Project' from any project page or contact us directly at support.dhairyadarji@gmail.com. Moderation reviews all reports within 24 hours.
